A bride and groom ensured they had an enchanting day with a Harry Potter -themed wedding that would be the envy of Hermiones everywhere.
Magic has been in the air for JK Rowling fans Cassie and Lewis Byrom since they got engaged last year in Diagon Alley at The Wizarding Word of Harry Potter theme park, at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
They then spent a year creating a magical day no guest would forget.
Before the extravagant ceremony, Cassie, 31, had a tattoo done of the Deathly Hallows while accounts manager Lewis, 34, had one of the Dark Mark, the symbol of Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters.

The 130 guests at the gothic Manchester Town Hall received wands with their invitations, welcoming them to witness the making of an “unbreakable vow”.
Finance worker Cassie wore a red garter decorated with the Hogwarts coat of arms, while she and her bridesmaids carried paper bouquets created from more than 20 cut-up novels.
The rings were presented by the best man on a copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and were inscribed “Always” – Severus Snape’s pledge to Harry’s mum Lily.
Cassie’s niece Leigha, 18, gave a reading from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
The bridal party each wore Golden Snitch bracelets and the couple, from Stockport, acted out the book’s final battle between Harry and Voldemort with wands – for amazing photos.
The newlyweds then transformed the grand Midland Hotel in Manchester city centre into their very own Great Hall for
their reception.
Their cake was topped with Lego figurines of Lord Voldemort and Cassie’s favourite character Bellatrix Lestrange – and the seating plan was arranged by the Sorting Hat.
Each place setting had a Golden Snitch – made from Ferrero Rochers, with wings – and each table had a centrepiece featuring potions, spells and horcruxes.
Wanted posters from the Ministry of Magic were hung around the hall with the faces of the bride, groom and guests.
Each table was named after one of the novels or one of Hogwarts school’s houses.
Of course the couple had 11 tables – named after the novels and the school houses of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw – with the top table displaying each of the house crests.
Cassie said: “It was a mammoth undertaking but it was everything I wanted.
“It was the most magical wedding imaginable.”
“We sifted through car boot sales, discount stores and second-hand shops every weekend for three months looking for Harry Potter paraphernalia.
“We stayed up till 3am most nights putting wings on Ferrero Rochers and searching eBay for trinkets.
“The hotel staff were arguing over who was going to work that night. They all wanted to. It was really lovely.”
Now the stress of planning such an ambitious wedding is over, Cassie has gone back to where it all began... and is reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone again.
Lewis said: “I love the films but Cassie’s definitely the biggest Harry Potter fan I know.
“She must have watched the films at least 30 times.
“Her face just lights up. It’s one of the reasons I love her.”
