After several images and the euro prices of the DJI Flip recently surfaced, which is expected to take off early in 2025, a Swiss online store has now revealed the first images of several Fly More combos and other specs of DJI's first foldable mini drone, which will apparently offer a camera similar to that of the DJI Mini 4.
The leaked photos showcase the DJI Flip’s sophisticated obstacle avoidance system, which reportedly incorporates LiDAR sensors for enhanced safety. This technology, typically reserved for DJI’s higher-end models, such as the DJI Air 3S, suggests the manufacturer is bringing premium features to a more accessible price point. The drone also appears to feature full-surface propeller protection, addressing safety concerns for both new and experienced pilots.

On top of that, leaker Jasper Ellens speculates that the Flip will be able to double as a first-person view (FPV) drone, much like the cheaper Neo that DJI launched earlier this year. Surprisingly, the Flip seems to master LiDAR too, despite its compact form factor.
As you can see, the Fly More Combo offers additional accessories such as a total of three batteries, a battery charger, additional propellers and a transport bag. ND filters also appear to be optionally available as the picture below shows. According to the webshop, the 249 gram foldable mini drone has a flight time of 31 minutes, which is a little surprising given the larger battery compared to the DJI Mini 4 Pro.
The drone’s competitive pricing strategy, particularly in the base configuration, could present an interesting challenge to both established manufacturers and newcomers in the compact drone segment. However, the true value proposition will depend on how well these features perform in real-world conditions.
As with any pre-release information, specifications and pricing details should be considered preliminary until officially confirmed by DJI. The Drohnen-Industrie has seen similar leaks in the past that proved mostly accurate, but final product details often include refinements or changes from early information.
