Oppo has launched the next Reno Series in China today. The Oppo Reno 13 Series 5G has gone official in China including two smartphones- Oppo Reno 13 and Oppo Reno 13 Pro 5G. The successor to Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro, the latest Reno Series is powered by Dimensity 8350 chipset and includes features like 1TB storage, Android 15 OS, triple IP rating, and more. The Oppo Reno 13 Series is expected to come to India in late December or January 2025.
The Reno13 series is now up for pre-order ahead of its November 28, 2024 launch event. In the meantime, Oppo has revealed that it will be equipped with the Hasselblad-branded camera app - iconic shutter-sound effect included - normally reserved for much higher-end smartphones.

The Dimensity 8350's StarSpeed is credited with a 10% reduction in power consumption (24% in high frame and full frame), a 24% increase in scene transition speed, and low jitter. But MediaTek doesn't specify whether these improvements are over the 8300 or a different chip.
Oppo Reno 13 5G sports a 6.59-inch Flat OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 Nits peak brightness. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. The smartphone has a dual camera setup at the back including a 50MP main and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. There is a 50MP selfie sensor at the front and under the hood is a 5600mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging. It runs Android 15-based ColorOS 15 and is IP69+IP68+IP66 rated for protection. The Oppo Reno 13 is 7.24mm thick and weighs 181 grams. Both phones feature 50-megapixel main cameras with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lenses. The Pro model also has a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. Both devices support 4K video recording at 60fps and have 50-megapixel front cameras.
The Reno13 and/or 13 Pro might also offer 100W SuperVOOC wired charging technology (actually faster than that of the top-end Find X8 Pro) and are backed to go particularly well with the Pad 3, the world's first tablet with ColorOS 15 on its simultaneous unveiling.
