Next up came Immy Waterhouse, who kept things laid back in a dusty pink wide-legged suit which she paired with a tonal silk shirt and white trainers. Charlie's Angel Ella Balinska also went for a suit, hers a white sequinned number paired with white pointy courts and a slick back up-do.

Downton star Laura Carmichael also chose to swerve a dress, instead opting to wear a sculptural black and navy bodice with flowing train and matching cropped trousers.

They were followed by Florence Welch who looked as beautifully boho as ever in a semi sheer olive green gown which she accessorised with the most adorable diamante-encrusted shell clutch.

It was not just the girls that brought their sartorial A-game this evening. Douglas Booth looked dapper in a navy blue suit with black lapel and presenter Jack Guinness oozed old school Hollywood chic in cream chinos and a double-breasted blazer from Ralph Lauren.
