Lenovo’s ThinkPad V14 and V15 Gen 4 are entry-level business laptops designed for small businesses, students, and professionals who need dependable performance without breaking the bank. As part of the legendary ThinkPad family, they inherit essential durability and security features while keeping costs manageable.
Both models are powered by AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors (up to Ryzen 7), offering excellent multi-core performance for daily tasks like document editing, web browsing, video conferencing, and light data analysis. Integrated AMD Radeon graphics handle casual media consumption and basic creative work. Memory options go up to 32GB DDR4, and storage includes fast PCIe SSDs up to 1TB, ensuring smooth system responsiveness.
The V14 features a 14-inch anti-glare display, while the V15 offers a larger 15.6-inch screen for those who prefer more workspace. Both come with TN or optional IPS panels (depending on configuration), with up to 250 nits brightness – adequate for indoor office use. The keyboards retain ThinkPad’s signature comfortable typing experience with good key travel. Ports are generous: two USB-C (supporting power delivery and DisplayPort), two USB-A, HDMI 1.4b, RJ45 Ethernet, and a headphone jack – no dongles required for legacy devices.
Security includes a discrete TPM 2.0 chip and an optional fingerprint reader integrated into the power button. The webcam has a physical privacy shutter. MIL-STD-810H military-grade testing ensures resistance to dust, temperature extremes, and minor drops, making them suitable for mobile use.
Battery life is solid, typically lasting 7–9 hours on a full charge. Rapid Charge technology adds up to 2 hours of runtime in just 15 minutes. Windows 11 Pro comes preinstalled.
