Realme has started teasing the arrival of the Realme 14 Pro series. The brand confirmed that the range is expected to include the Realme 14 Pro and 14 Pro+, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and a periscope telephoto camera.The 14 Pro series is expected to be available in January 2025 in a number of countries, including India. Prior to the launch, the company held a private meeting to unveil the design of the 14 Pro series.
Realme 14 Pro series design revealed
Realme has collaborated with renowned Nordic industrial design studio Valeur Designers to develop the 14 Pro series’ design, which features the world’s first cold-sensitive color-changing technology. It debuts industry-first advanced thermochromic pigments that react to temperature fluctuations. Below 16°C, the back cover shifts from pearl white to vibrant blue, reversing as temperatures rise.
On the front, the Realme 14 Pro+ 5G is equipped with a quad-curved AMOLED screen that promises a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio thanks to 1.6mm slim bezels. The overall thickness of the device is only 8mm. The company asserts that the 30-step “fusion fiber” process gives each Pearl White unit of the 14 Pro series’ back panel a unique look.
Speaking of the camera module design, which the company dubs as “Ocean Oculus” triple camera offers the industry’s first “Magic Glow” triple flash, which includes three dual-color temperature LEDs, for natural portrait shots in low-light conditions. When it comes to durability, the device will come with an IP69 rating and TUV Rheinland certification.
Realme 14 Pro+ specifications (rumored)
The Realme 14 Pro+'s OLED screen will reportedly support 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the bonnet, the device will come with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip and support 80W fast charging. There is no information about the battery size and configuration of the device.
For selfies, it may come with a 32MP front-facing camera and its rear panel will feature a 50MP main camera with OIS support, an 80MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a Sony LYT-600 or IMX82 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
