The pictures, published by Android Authority, show OneUI 7.0 in use—the latest version of Samsung’s flavor of Android launched at the start of October. The surprise is not the presence of OneUI, but the device the code is running on… every sign points to this hardware being the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra. This offers us an excellent chance to look at the design changes discussed previously.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 and its siblings are among the best Android phones you can buy, but one thing they’re far from the best at is fast charging, with even the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra’s charging speeds being dwarfed by some rival handsets. Sadly, it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will charge just as slowly.

A few hours ago, we saw a brief leaked video clip that showed what appeared to be a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. While that video clip was very interesting, it didn’t show the whole phone. However, Android Authority has obtained some exclusive images of that same device, and we get to see a bit more of it.

Then, you have the simplicity of a flat display panel. Samsung was one of the first companies to use a curved screen back on the Galaxy Note Edge, and the technology has been widely used by many manufacturers looking for unique designs. With the move back to a fully flat screen, Samsung is making a practical choice that I think will be rewarded by consumer interest when the phones are released&mdash;presumably in early 2025.
Technically these certifications don’t reveal the phones' charging speeds, but they do reveal the speeds of the power adapters associated with each phone, which in most cases would match what the phone is capable of.
The video clip referenced earlier did not show the bottom of the phone. In these images, we get to see two photos of the other half: a nice shot of the USB-C port, SIM slot, speaker, and S Pen, and another shot showing the phone plugged in and charging. The latter photo includes a new charging notification, which is part of One UI 7. We’ll touch more on that in a second.
And speaking of wireless charging, 91Mobiles interprets the FCC information as saying that the base Samsung Galaxy S25 will offer just 9W wireless charging, down from an already-slow 15W on the Samsung Galaxy S24.
In the third photo, we get a nice close-up of the corner bezel of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The bezels are fairly thin and uniform, which is a classy look. Note that the phone shows the Reddit profile of u/GamingMK, which the original leaker provided as proof that they were the phone’s owner.
