OnePlus is reportedly launching the third model in the Ace 5 series. A new leak reveals key details suggesting that it's a mid-range device with a focus on performance.

The OnePlus Ace series consists of mid-range smartphones. The latest Ace 5 series features two devices: the standard OnePlus Ace 5 and the Ace 5 Pro. Now we expect OnePlus to launch a third model in the Ace 5 lineup. The exact name of the device is not known. However, it is expected to be called the OnePlus Ace 5s or the Ace 5V. Ahead of official confirmation, a leak has surfaced online revealing information regarding the upcoming device.

The leak comes from tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo, a Chinese social media site. The tipster suggests the upcoming mid-range OnePlus phone will have a large flat display. The leaker suggests that the phone will have high scores in benchmarks, indicating that it will be a performance-oriented smartphone.

It is tipped to come with a Dimensity processor. The leak does not reveal the exact name of the chipset. However, it is expected to be a Dimensity 9000 series chipset. Previously, popular tipster, Digital Chat Station revealed that OnePlus will launch a phone with Dimensity 9350 or Dimensity 9400 processor.

The tipster Smart Pikachu revealed that the phone will be launched in the second quarter of 2025.The OnePlus Ace 5 has been rebranded with slight changes for the global market and launched under the name OnePlus 13R. Hence, the upcoming mid-range phone could also be renamed for the international market. However, take this with a pinch of salt as none of this has been confirmed by the company.
