Support pages for the Samsung Galaxy A56 and A36 are now live in France, signaling an upcoming launch. We expect the upcoming models to be redesigned, with upgraded chipsets and enhanced features.
Samsung is expected to update its budget Galaxy A series lineup. Earlier, we reported on the leaked details of the Galaxy A56. Now, the support page for the mid-range phone is live, hinting at an upcoming launch.
Apart from the Galaxy A56, the support page of the more affordable Galaxy A36 is also live in France. This hints that both devices are not far from launch in the country.
The Galaxy A56 is listed with the model number SM-A566B, and the Galaxy A36 with SM-A366B. The support page does not reveal any specifications or features; however, the previous leaks and rumors have hinted at what the phones might offer.
The Galaxy A56 is expected to get a major design overhaul. It may feature the Exynos 1580, an improved SoC compared to the Exynos 1480 found on the Galaxy A55 (currently available on Amazon for $329). The battery capacity may not improve over the previous generation. However, the phone may get support for 45W wired charging.
On the other hand, the Galaxy A36 may also feature a new rear camera design. Rumors suggest it will be slightly smaller than its predecessor. The display of the A36 may measure 6.64 inches. It may feature a Qualcomm processor, with rumors hinting at it being the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2.
The Galaxy A55 and A35 models were released in March last year. it seems unlikely that an A-series phone will be released in January, as Samsung may want to focus on the release of the Galaxy S25 series. Therefore, it is more likely that a new A-series model will be released in February or March.
