Samsung will face stiff competition for foldable product sales in 2025 as both Vivo and Oppo/OnePlus have some very exciting alternatives in the pipeline.The Oppo Find N5 will likely launch globally in the form of the OnePlus Open 2, which is expected to launch well ahead of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, and thus well ahead of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. a leaker has just revealed some key areas of development.

Samsung is expected to once again claim the lion's share of foldable sales in 2025, especially in Europe, but its market share is declining rapidly in the face of growing competition and the exciting alternatives expected next year. Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station recently made a post on Weibo outlining the Galaxy Z Fold 7 replacement from OnePlus/Oppo. He said that the Find N5/Open 2 will be lighter and thinner, and that the trend across the industry won't stop with the Hasselblad Camera folding screen phone. The IPX8 waterproof foldable tablet is also said to come with a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens and a larger battery, which, unlike its predecessor, can now be charged wirelessly.
