Wedding: Vetter - Kraus(0)

Jennifer Ann Vetter and Jason Joseph Kraus were married September 30, 2016, at Mon Ami Winery in Port Clinton, Ohio. The Rev. Timothy Armstrong officiated the 4:30 pm nuptials. The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Bud and Wendy Vetter of Mansfield. The groom is the son of Don and Sandy Kraus of Holdrege, Nebraska.

The ceremony was family oriented with the entire bridal party being family members. Kelly Coley, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Caitlin Vetter, sister in law of the bride, Emily Kraus, sister of the groom and Erin Kraus, sister in law of the groom, served as bridesmaids.

Brad Kraus, brother of the groom, served as best man. Tom Vetter, brother of the bride, and Tyler Coley, brother in law of the bride, served as groomsmen. Kendyl Kraus, niece of the groom, served as flower girl. Noah Coley, Andrew Coley, and Luke Coley, nephews of the bride, and Cotton Kraus, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearers. The readers were Kelly Coley and Emily Kraus.

The bride carried ivy in her flower bouquet which her maternal grandmother, mother and sister had carried in their wedding bouquets. She also carried a good luck charm that her paternal grandmother, sister and cousin had all carried in their wedding bouquets. The bride had a small piece of the groom’s blue blanket from his childhood sewn into her dress.

A reception was held at Mon Ami Winery following the ceremony which was performed in the wine cellar. The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii. The bride is a graduate of Ontario High School and a graduate of the University of Toledo. The groom is a graduate of Holdrege High School and a graduate of the University of Nebraska. The couple is currently living in Carlsbad, California.
