Oppo K12 Plus Coming Soon: with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, 120Hz screen and 6400 mAh battery(0)

As promised, Oppo today launched the Oppo K12 Plus in China. it's powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. out of the box, the smartphone runs Android 14-based ColorOS 14, but Oppo has yet to promise how many software updates it will receive.

The Oppo K12 Plus is built around a 6.7" 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED display, having 1,100 nits peak brightness and wet touch control support. Oppo also boasts about its self-developed shock-absorbing diamond structure and the safety airbag design that provides all-around drop protection to the K12 Plus.

For photography, the Oppo K12 Plus sports three cameras - 50MP primary (with OIS), 8MP ultrawide, and 16MP selfie. The smartphone comes with an AI eraser and lets you create emojis by creating a cutout of a person, pet, or object from the photos.

Keeping the Oppo K12 Plus up and running is a 6,400 mAh battery with 80W wired and 10W reverse wired charging support. Oppo says the battery can be charged up to 50% in 20 minutes with an 80W power adapter.

Other highlights of the Oppo K12 Plus include an X-axis motor for 4D Vibration in games, dual speakers, NFC, an IR blaster, an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP54 rating, and 5G connectivity.

Additionally, the Oppo K12 Plus comes with a 4,129mm2 liquid-cooled VC cooler, support for 120 FPS gaming in some games, and offline chat functionality to reach out to nearby friends on your phone without an internet connection.

The Oppo K12 Plus is available in White and Black colours with 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB RAM options, and is priced at CNY 1,899 ($270/€245/INR 22,610), CNY 2,099 ($300/€270/INR 24,990), CNY 2,099 ($300/€270/INR 24,990), and CNY 2,499 ($355/€325/29,755) respectively.
