At Echoes Breath, which has the philosophy of "finding the potential value of sound / music and embodying it, we will create more experiences." .. From there, the concept of "non-looping BGM" and "endless BGM" was born and the project started. In AISO, the program constructs small pieces of "sound" in real time and randomly, instead of the big piece of "music", and generates new music semi-permanently. However, the program is just a "box". I think that the sound that becomes the "content" is important. It is not an automatic composition of music by a program that makes Western music completely understood, but only the minimum musical elements that can be quantified are ruled. The music producer self-interprets the rules, and after trial and error, creates his own "sound" pieces. Music that continues to play with a completely different composition each time it is played. I think that we can propose new ways of making, listening to, and idealizing music as a medium that records sound to this system and contains "endless" music, such as records, cassettes, and CDs. Currently, we are soliciting participation from various artists and working toward its realization.

The first thing I thought about this time was that I wanted to make something that was easy and convenient to use in everyday life. I aimed to create something like a tool or device rather than a work of art.
In the actual production, what I wanted to achieve was to achieve both the freshness that is irregularly generated from the computer and the comfortable and seamless connection of each sound.
I was good at seamless, but I couldn't get the freshness well, and I wasn't worried about it, but in a meeting with the AISO team, I came up with a story about a song series called "YACHIMATA" that I used to do as a half hobby. hand. Suddenly, when I tried disassembling and adjusting several songs and mixing them, I felt an interesting response.
I had no experience of mixing phrases from multiple songs, but I felt the freshness that wasn't born intentionally, which was different from creating a new one from scratch, and I wasn't alone with the computer. There was a response that I was able to produce.
Once the adjustment method was set, it went straight to completion. Finally, from the YACHIMATA series, we took out the environmental sounds and phrases for 38 songs from February 2018 to May 2021, adjusted them one by one, and embedded them in AISO as sound fragments. It contains a lot of sounds of rice fields in the four seasons of Yachimata, Chiba, where I live, various kinds of live musical instruments and electronic sounds.
This "YACHIMATA" is not a new song, but it cannot be said to be an existing song. In the first place, I don't know if this is a song or not. It was the first mysterious music for me.
