iQoo 13 is one of the first flagship phones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite. As for the successor lineup, recent reports suggest that there will be a Pro model, which will come with a periscope camera.
There's no Pro version of iQoo's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship, but the upcoming iQoo 14 lineup could be different in that regard. Experience More, a well-known tipster on Weibo, claims that the company's next flagship series will consist of two phones: a regular phone and a Pro.
The leaker suggests that both of them will feature straight screens, something that has become quite common among Chinese flagship phones. As for what will set the iQoo 14 Pro apart from the standard, the Weibo tipster says it would be a periscope telephoto sensor.
It's not clear whether both the iQoo 14 Pro and non-Pro phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2, but there's a chance that one of them may pack the Dimensity 9400 successor. Smart Pikachu, another prominent Weibo tipster, shares that the company may use Samsung OLED screens on the upcoming flagship line.
These are tipped to be 1.5K and 2.5K resolution micro-quad-curved screens. This would be another major change in the iQoo 14 series because the past two lineups relied on OLED panels made by BOE and Visionox. Smart Pikachu's report further suggests that Vivo may also use Samsung LTPO panels for its upcoming flagship phones.
Other than that, not much is known about the iQoo 14 series, but considering that it's a gaming-centric phone, the series could feature a new Q3 chip to enhance the gaming experience. Both the upcoming phones may also come with the RGB lights that the current generation Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship has around the camera island.
