Honor has launched the Honor Tablet X9 Pro WiFi version in China with high-end specs and an affordable price range. It offers many improvements over the Honor Pad X9, which debuted in 2023.

The Honor Tablet X9 Pro features an 11.5-inch LCD display with 1.07 billion colours, 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution, 400 nits peak brightness and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It offers 86 per cent screen-to-body ratio to ensure an immersive viewing experience. The tablet is powered by Snapdragon 685 chipset with Adreno 610 GPU and runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.
The device includes an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for video calls and basic photography. A large 8300mAh battery powers the tablet, supporting 35W fast charging via USB Type-C. Audio and connectivity features include four speakers, a microphone, WiFi 5, and Bluetooth 5.1.

Honor integrates a number of advanced features, including TUV Rheinland Blue Light and Flicker-Free Viewing Certification, AI Face Change Detection, AI Audible Notes, Multi-Screen Collaboration, and Parental Remote Control. The tablet also comes with assistive learning tools and self-developed voice algorithms to enhance the user experience.
The Honor Tablet X9 Pro weighs 457g and measures 267.3×167.4×6.77mm. It is available in three colors: Azure, Jade Dragon Snow, and Cangshan Gray.
Pricing & availability
Storage options include 6/128GB priced at 1099 CNY, 8/128GB at 1199 CNY (first sale price), and 8/256GB at 1499 CNY. Pre-orders are live on the Honor China website, with official sales beginning January 10, 2025.
